Coalition for Deep Space Exploration Names New President + CEO – SatNews

the Coalition for Deep Space Exploration (Coalition) appointed Frank Slazera space industry leader and space advocate with over 30 years of experience in space policy, programs and budgets, serving as President and CEO of the Coalition, beginning in May 17, 2021.

The Coalition is a national, nonprofit organization of space industry companies and universities that works to ensure the United States remains a leader in space exploration, science, and technology. The Coalition engages in outreach and education by reinforcing the value and benefits of human space exploration and space science to the public and leaders of our nation, creating lasting support for long-term direction , sustainable and strategic of our country’s space exploration programs.

Most recently, Slazer was responsible for business development strategies in the space market for Aerojet Rocketdyne. Prior to Aerojet Rocketdyne, for eight years he served as Vice President of Space Systems at Aerospace Industries Association. Early in his career, he held engineering and business development positions at Northrop Grumman, United Launch Allianceand Boeing.
